At RECACEL, we manage waste such as paper, cardboard, PET, aluminum, glass, electronics (WEEE), special waste, and more. You can check the full list in our waste section.
What is the collection process like?
We offer scheduled collection services for both businesses and households. We can pick up materials from your location or coordinate specific drop-off points. We adapt to your needs.
Is there any cost for the collection service?
Some services are free, such as the collection of recoverable materials in sufficient volume. Others, like special waste, have an associated cost. We always inform you beforehand when scheduling.
Is there a minimum weight required to schedule a collection?
Yes, we generally require a minimum of approximately 20 pounds per waste category. This helps us operate efficiently and sustainably. Feel free to contact us for more details.
Do you accept damaged or incomplete electronics?
Yes, we properly manage WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment), even if it's damaged, broken, or incomplete. The important thing is to keep it out of landfills.
What happens to the waste after collection?
At RECACEL, we handle the classification, weighing, storage, and shipment of waste to certified processing companies outside the country. We don’t transform it, we manage it.
Can I bring my waste directly to your facilities?
Yes, with prior coordination, you can drop off your waste at our facilities. This helps us reduce time and logistical costs.
Do you offer nationwide service?
We currently operate mainly in San Pedro Sula and Tegucigalpa. If you're in another area, reach out to us and we'll see how we can help.
