At Recacel we manage recoverable waste so it can be transformed abroad and reintegrated into new production cycles.

Recoverable waste

  • Are correctly classified.
  • They're clean and dry.
  • We manage them for recovery and added value.
  • Example: paper, PET, electronics, metals.

🚫 Non-recoverable waste

  • They cannot be reused or recovered.
  • They are contaminated, wet, or mixed.
  • They go directly to a landfill.
  • We cannot accept them at Recacel.
  • Example: sanitary paper, soiled disposables.

What types of WEEE do we buy? (WEEE = Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)

Recoverable WEEE (we do buy):
  • Electronic boards
  • Servers
  • Network equipment
  • Computers
  • Cellphones

These types of waste contain components with commercial value that we can purchase.

Close Non-recoverable WEEE (we do not buy):
  • Refrigerators
  • Microwaves
  • Electrical stoves
  • Fans
  • Old TVs
  • Devices without electronic boards

These types of waste have no resale value, but we manage them to prevent environmental contamination.
